Jump Snap

Fast and Precise AF
The LUMIX GF8 boasts a high-speed, high-precision Light Speed AF system including practical full-time AF and tracking AF. Low Light AF makes it possible to focus on subjects more precisely in moonlight with no other light source. It lets you take images of children or pets without shocking them with the flash or AF Assist Lamp.
Silent mode also turns all sound (AF, operation) off while suppressing the emission of the AF assist lamp.
Scene Guide
Simply select from 23 pre-optimized presets to use the one that most closely matches your shooting scenario and let the camera automatically select the ideal settings to deliver the best result. Portrait, Child, Scenery modes, which are often used, have respective shortcuts on the dial.
Creative Control
With a variety of filter effects, Creative Control lets you add artistic and original expression to photos, panoramic photos and videos.
Rec. Setting Reset Button
If a recording setting is changed accidentally, pressing the Rec. Setting Reset button will restore the camera to its factory settings.
